The financier bought a smaller island - the Little St James - back in the late 1990s, but subsequently obtained the bigger adjacent island in the year 2016 for approximately $22.5 million.
This visual evidence indicate he had formulated plans to build upon the sprawling island by erecting living quarters, an open-air theater, an submerged workspace and a swimming pool.
