The British boxer prepares to battle Jake Paul in an eight-round match which will be streamed live on the streaming platform.
British boxer Joshua stated he will "dominate completely" the American and "defeat" his opponent as the pair came face-to-face to promote the upcoming boxing match.
Ex two-time world boxing king Anthony Joshua faces YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, on paper, a mammoth mismatch - at Miami's venue on 19 December.
Boxer's Attitude
"I plan to damage his features and hurt his body. I'm here to prove I'm the better fighter," Joshua, 35 years old, said.
"I will dominate him completely. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I will really want to cause him pain. That's my intention."
Civil Exchange
In spite of these statements, a relaxed Anthony Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - typically famous for his theatrics - shared friendly words and kept it respectful with each other.
Jake Paul instead targeted ex Joshua opponent Francis Ngannou and described him as "not serious" after the Cameroonian turned down a match opportunity.
Taking Aim at Tyson Fury
Anthony Joshua, at the same time, took aim at British rival Tyson Fury - and rejected a million-pound wager 'The Gypsy King' claims he will make on a victory for Paul.
"Jake Paul is better than Tyson Fury - he showed up," Joshua stated.
"I respect him for that."
Serious Fighter
In spite of stating he plans to punish Paul, Anthony Joshua refused to comment unfavorably about his rival's boxing ability.
"Jake Paul is a serious fighter," he stated.
Jake Paul's Background
Jake Paul - who initially became famous on the television network - has mainly fought MMA fighters or declining opponents since becoming pro.
He lost to British fighter Tommy Fury in last year.
Financial Attraction
However, the relative newcomer remains one of boxing's largest commercial attractions, frequently receiving massive financial rewards.
Forecast and Belief
The 28-year-old forecast a KO victory in round four or five and claimed he would prevent the highly-expected Joshua–Fury fight, which is reportedly in the works for two years from now.
"It's going to be my match with Fury next year," Jake Paul declared.
Size Difference
As Joshua and Paul met for the traditional face-off, with their physical disparity on show, it emphasized just how surprising this whole event is - and how amazing it is that the bout is truly happening.
